Vancouver really isn’t playin around when we claim the colours blue and green.

The good peeps over at Koda Klothing asked me to paint their truck last week and today I got the chance to get loose. I called up Ensoe to rock the other side. Overall it was good times and a fun afternoon!

Today post goes out to Colin Moore. Happy birthday bro.

For all you hiphop and rap fans out there, Shad will be performing in Vancouver (@ The Biltmore) on Thursday as part of his CD release tour. I personally garantee the most amazing display of musical talent from this local. Get tickets online HERE. Hiphop has been missing this!!

Today I stopped by the Vancouver Art Gallery to see the Kerry James Marshall exhibit. If your in Vancouver I highly recommend a visit, simply incredible works.  Tip: go on a tuesday after 5pm, admission is by donation versus $20.00. Image source: Art Splash

An amazing collaboration wall just went up in LA by artists RIME, CRAOLA, DABS & MYLA. Check out the finished wall and article HERE.

Recently I checked out the grad show at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. I was once a Emily Carr student, and definitely have nothing but good things to say about the school. For those that don’t know its in a really vibrant area in Vancouver called Granville Island. Theres a public market, lots of great local businesses and colourful community. Unfortunately I left the school before I could graduate to pursue Graffiti art and to start my career as a freelance artist, Maybe one day I will return to complete my education. Regardless, it was really awesome to see some of the works by the grads. Some of it is pretty out there, but all the more interesting and thought provoking. I thought I would share some of my favs, hopefully you will feel inspired! Oh btw, I don’t have the names of any of the artists, sorry!
