This was my last day of live painting. The weather was amazing, and painted next to my studio room mate Colin Moore. I managed to finish one painting and 2 snowboard paintings as well. Enjoy the visuals

Spent another day live painting at the Olympic games. I cannot get over the energy of this event, everyone is super positive and the spectators are really enjoying the visuals..Here is the painting I finished yesterday, it is a rendering from a photograph I took of the light displays downtown. It was challenging going into this painting, because it is not my typical style, but I had a vision for a more “realistic” feel, and it ended up turning out to be my favorite work yet! I’m happy with the results. on top of that it was a beautiful day to watch the women rip it up in the half pipe event! more photos to come.

So I’ve spent the last couple of days painting up at cypress mountain during a few Olympic events. They have us set up on a stage along a pathway where all the spectators walk up to the bleachers to watch. The energy has been great and so far a very cool experience. My finished painting represents the Port of Vancouver. it is an interpretation of a topographic map. The total size is 7 x 8 feet, and done with spray paint, latex paints, and ink. All completed paintings  will be going up for auction at vancouver2010.com the proceeds will be going to the artists and charity. I will be spending a few more days up there, so stay tuned for more paintings!
