This collaboration was painted last week in my studio. It was great to finally get to work on a piece with Indigo. I found it interesting to look at our work functioning as one piece, simply because we both work in spray paint but our process and approach is so different. I see it as order and chaos in the same package. Full size image in my FINE ART section.

The “Larger Than Life” exhibition is happening at Ayden gallery right now, featuring new works by William Chad Willsie, Kevin Ledo, Morgan Jeske and Indigo. I wanted to post some pics of Indigo’s installation because well, its amazing for starters, and it features paris based model Tara Jean which happens to be a close friend of mine. Also, Indigo doesn’t typically work with brushes which is also noteworthy considering the quality of the work! Find out more about what Indigo is up to on her BLOG

Just finished a semi-quick wall out in North Vancouver. I’ve been doing mostly really simple pieces so far this year, and it was nice to get a bit more technical with this one. This piece seems to be a balance between some of my more wild pieces, yet influenced by my more recent simple lettering. I’m also trying to move away from my traditional colour methods aswell. In most situations I tend to use a really dark colour(usually black), or pure white. Its now a new challange to make mid-tone colours contrast well and work as outline colours. Overall I’m happy with the work, and the weather was great! A full shot of the finished work is at the top of my WALLS section
